Electrical Maintenance Engineer (DAYS).
Telford, Shropshire.
£48,000 + 33 days holiday + pension + benefits.
Monday – Friday (Days) / 8:30am – 5:00pm.
A successful manufacturing business based in Telford have a fantastic opening for skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
This role involves the development, implementation and maintenance of automated systems and processes, focusing on improving efficiency and reducing downtime in the factory. The Electrical Engineer supports production engineering activities throughout the facility.
This position will suit an Electrically Biased Engineer who has experience with both Automation & PLC systems.
Role Description.
* Investigate and repair equipment failures utilizing electrical knowledge.
* Ensure modifications to plant and equipment meet engineering standards and legislative requirements.
* Source parts or vital equipment to keep the factory operational.
* Complete electrical overhauls and upgrades to equipment.
* Modernize PLC platforms and integrated control systems.
* Integrate technology within new and existing systems.
* Create electrical drawings/schematics.
* Help to train and develop the engineering team in electrical disciplines.
* Provide technical support across the engineering team.
Skills and Qualifications.
* Electrically Biased Engineering skillset.
* Trained to Level 3+ in an engineering discipline.
* Experience with PLC Systems; ability to read and interpret PLC languages.
* Manufacturing industry background.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated engineering team.
