Pertemps are recruiting experienced Traffic Controllers for a leading automotive company based in Coleshill, Birmingham.

This is a permanent full-time position offering long-term job security following a successful interview. We are looking for confident, proactive individuals who have previous experience controlling vehicle movements and can communicate effectively with drivers and customers on a daily basis.

Shift patterns available:

Mornings: 05:30 – 14:00

Afternoons: 13:30 – 22:00

Nights: 18:00 – 06:00

The role:

Control and coordinate vehicle movements safely and efficiently

Manage traffic flow across a busy automotive site

Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams

Resolve issues quickly using initiative and problem-solving skills

Identify hazards and take proactive action to maintain safe operations

Essential experience and skills:

Previous experience as a Traffic Controller / Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Movement Controller is essential

Experience managing vehicle movements in a busy environment

Confident dealing with drivers and customers daily

Strong communication skills and the ability to give clear instructions

Ability to make quick decisions and remain calm under pressure

Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused approach
