Location: Wirksworth, Derbyshire

Salary: £29,348 per annum + overtime (time +½)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm (day shifts only)

We’re recruiting for an experienced Bandsaw / Cutting Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Wirksworth on a permanent basis.

The Role

* Operating bandknife / bandsaw machinery to cut materials accurately

* Preparing materials ready for CNC processing

* Working from technical drawings and measurements

* Ensuring maximum material utilisation and minimal waste

* Maintaining high quality and health & safety standards

* Supporting across production where needed

What We’re Looking For

* Minimum 2 years’ experience using bandsaw, bandknife, or similar cutting machinery

* Confident working from drawings and measurements

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Background in manufacturing / production environments

* Reliable, hands-on, and team-focused

We’re also keen to hear from candidates with transferable experience, including: Cutting Operator, CNC Cutter, Foam Converter, Textile Cutter, Conversion Operative
