BSL Tutor (British Sign Language Tutor) - SEND School Setting | September Start

We are currently recruiting for an experienced British Sign Language (BSL) Tutor to join a specialist primary school in Barnet from September.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled BSL practitioner who is passionate about supporting communication and language development for deaf and hearing-impaired children.

The Role:

Deliver high-quality British Sign Language tuition and support.
Promote effective communication across the school environment.
Support pupils in developing confidence and independence through BSL.
Work closely with teaching staff and specialist professionals.
Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.Requirements:

Recognised British Sign Language qualification (Level 2, 3, 4 or above).
Strong BSL communication skills.
Experience working with deaf or hearing-impaired children is desirable.
Experience within education, SEND or specialist settings is advantageous.
