The Role
Reporting to the Head of Health & Safety, you will provide expert guidance and support to project teams, helping to maintain the highest standards of health and safety across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
Promoting a positive health and safety culture throughout the organisation.
Ensuring working practices comply with current health and safety legislation.
Reviewing health and safety documentation, including safe systems of work.
Supporting the development and implementation of health and safety strategies, policies, and procedures.
Leading health and safety initiatives across projects.
Assisting with the delivery of health and safety training for managers and employees.
Conducting regular site inspections to monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.
Carrying out accident and incident investigations and supporting corrective actions.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have:
A recognised Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH/NCRQ, BSc or MSc in Safety).
Proven experience as a Health & Safety Advisor within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation.
Experience conducting accident and incident investigations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to build positive working relationships and influence others.
Good IT skills.
A valid CSCS Card.
