Help shape the future of sustainable construction.

We're recruiting for an ambitious Area Sales Manager to join a market-leading business at the forefront of innovative building envelope and renewable energy solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge products that are helping businesses achieve their net zero carbon goals, while developing long-term relationships with architects, developers, contractors, consultants and end users.

If you thrive in a specification-led sales environment, enjoy influencing projects from concept through to completion, and have a passion for sustainable construction, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

You'll be responsible for driving specifications and sales across your territory, identifying opportunities from the earliest project stages and guiding them through to successful order placement.

Working closely with both internal specialists and external stakeholders, you'll become the trusted expert for a range of innovative roofing, insulated panel and renewable energy solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing and growing specification opportunities across your territory.

Building relationships with architects, developers, consultants, contractors and key decision makers.

Promoting innovative building envelope and renewable energy solutions that support low-carbon construction.

Presenting CPD seminars and technical presentations to specifiers and clients.

Demonstrating how integrated roofing and solar solutions can improve building performance and reduce energy costs.

Managing projects from initial enquiry through specification, quotation and order.

Working collaboratively with internal sales, technical and marketing teams to maximise opportunities.

Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and CRM, producing regular forecasts and activity reports.

Providing valuable market intelligence to support future product development and business growth.

About You

We're looking for a commercially driven sales professional who combines technical understanding with excellent relationship-building skills.

You'll ideally have:

Experience in specification sales within construction, roofing, building envelope, insulation, façades, renewables or related sectors.

Strong knowledge of photovoltaic (solar) technology or renewable energy solutions.

An understanding of how building fabric influences energy performance and sustainability.

A proven ability to generate specifications that convert into profitable orders.

Existing relationships with architects, developers, consultants or end users.

Excellent presentation and communication skills, including CPD delivery.

Strong commercial awareness and the ability to discuss financial or funded project solutions.

A proactive, organised and target-driven approach.

Experience managing a CRM system and sales pipeline.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join an organisation that's investing heavily in innovation, sustainability and its people.

You'll benefit from:

A genuinely exciting product portfolio with significant market demand.

The opportunity to influence major commercial construction and refurbishment projects.

Strong technical and commercial support.

Ongoing professional development and training.

Excellent career progression within a growing business.

Competitive salary, performance bonus and comprehensive benefits package.

Ready to make an impact?

If you're passionate about sustainable construction, enjoy building relationships and want to represent industry-leading solutions that are changing the future of commercial buildings, we'd love to hear from you.
