An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join a highly regarded, forward-thinking GP practice based in Folkestone. The Role

The successful Advanced Nurse Practitioner will independently assess, diagnose, treat and manage patients presenting with a wide variety of acute and minor illness conditions. They will work as an integral part of the clinical team, providing high-quality, evidence-based care whilst contributing to the ongoing development of services across the practice.

Key Responsibilities

Independently assess, diagnose and treat patients presenting with acute and minor illness.
Prescribe medication safely and effectively (V300 Independent Prescribing essential).
Order and interpret diagnostic investigations.
Manage long-term conditions where appropriate.
Provide health promotion and preventative care advice.
Refer patients appropriately to secondary care and community services.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary primary care team.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using the practice clinical system.
Support service development and quality improvement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
Qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent).
V300 Independent Prescribing qualification.
Previous experience working within Primary Care or General Practice.
Confident working autonomously and managing undifferentiated presentations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
