We are seeking a qualified and experienced Diagnostic / Master Technician to join our client's modern dealership in Birmingham, West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Diagnostic / Master Technician looking to advance their career within a progressive, technology-driven environment.
Benefits for the successful Diagnostic / Master Technician:
Basic salary up to £44,696, dependent on experience
Potential to achieve OTE circa £55,000
Monday to Friday working hours – 40 hours per week
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service length

Employee discounts and comprehensive benefits packageDuties of the Diagnostic / Master Technician:
Conduct advanced diagnostics on complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems
Repair, service, and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards
Accurately complete warranty and diagnostic repairs
Work on hybrid and electric vehicles, where qualified
Utilise state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to identify intermittent and complex faults
Support and mentor junior technicians within the workshop
Ensure high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer satisfactionRequirements of the Diagnostic / Master Technician:
Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
Proven experience as a Diagnostic or Master Technician within a franchised or professional workshop environment
Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
Experience using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
Excellent fault-finding ability with a methodical approach
Full UK driving licence
