Welfare Administrator

Are you an organised administrator with strong communication skills and experience supporting others? We are currently recruiting for a Welfare Administrator to join a welcoming secondary school in Ealing. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, with a September start.

The school is a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Ealing, committed to creating a safe, positive and welcoming environment for both students and staff. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team, providing essential administrative and welfare support to ensure the smooth running of the school day.

As a Welfare Administrator, you will provide a combination of administrative support and student welfare assistance. You will act as a key point of contact for students, staff and visitors, supporting with day-to-day enquiries, communication and welfare-related tasks.

Please note: A valid First Aid qualification is compulsory for this position. Successful applicants will be required to provide proof of their certification before starting the role.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing administrative support to the school's welfare and pastoral teams

Managing incoming calls, taking messages and directing enquiries appropriately

Welcoming visitors and providing a professional first point of contact

Supporting students who require first aid or medical assistance

Maintaining accurate student records and updating information as required

Assisting with welfare documentation and confidential paperwork

Liaising with parents, carers, staff and external professionals when needed

Supporting attendance, safeguarding and pastoral administration processes
