Location: Bolton (BL1)
Start Date: 1st September
Contract: Full Time, Monday-Friday
Pay: £14.25 - £17.00 per hour
Are you passionate about giving young children the very best start to their education?
A caring and inclusive Primary School in Bolton (BL1) is looking to appoint an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from 1st September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant Nursery/Reception environment where you'll help children develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning.
The school is looking for someone who can build positive relationships with pupils, support learning through play and become an integral member of their Early Years team.
Your Role
Working alongside the class teacher, you will:
Support children with their learning and development throughout the school day
Deliver engaging activities through play-based learning
Assist with early phonics, communication, literacy and numeracy development
Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
Encourage children's independence, confidence and social skills
Help prepare resources and maintain an engaging classroom environment
Support children's personal, social and emotional development
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children in an Early Years or primary school setting
A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A good understanding of the EYFS framework (desirable)
The ability to create a fun, safe and nurturing learning environment
A genuine passion for supporting young children during the early stages of their education
