You don't need previous recruitment experience. We're more interested in your attitude, communication skills and willingness to learn. This is an excellent opportunity for someone from a customer service, sales, hospitality, retail, administration or education background who wants to build a long-term professional career.
The role
Initially, you'll focus on finding and engaging talented teachers and support staff for schools, colleges and other educational settings.
With structured training, coaching and ongoing support, you'll gradually develop the skills needed to manage vacancies, build relationships with schools and run your own successful recruitment desk.
Your responsibilities will include:
Finding candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, referrals and our database.
Speaking with applicants to understand their experience, availability and career goals.
Building and maintaining strong candidate relationships.
Writing engaging job adverts and supporting recruitment campaigns.
Matching suitable candidates with vacancies.
Coordinating interviews and supporting candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Maintaining accurate candidate and vacancy records.
Assisting with references, safeguarding and compliance checks.
Working towards individual and team activity targets.
Developing your knowledge of recruitment and the education sector.
Who we're looking for
You'll be someone who is:
Confident communicating by telephone and face-to-face.
Naturally good at building relationships.
An excellent written and verbal communicator.
Organised and able to manage several priorities.
Resilient, motivated and comfortable working towards targets.
Positive, professional and willing to learn.
Attentive to detail.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
Collaborative and committed to delivering excellent service.
Committed to equality, diversity, safeguarding and inclusion.Previous experience in recruitment, sales, customer service or education would be helpful but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Applicants must hold GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent qualifications.
