Acoustic Consultant

Location: London

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE

Aztrum is working with a leading provider of environmental services, specialising in acoustic consultancy, air quality, and environmental impact assessments. This consultancy works with a diverse range of clients in both the private and public sectors, including infrastructure, construction, and urban development projects. Due to on-going expansion plans, they have an opportunity for a Consultant to join the team in London.

Key Responsibilities

As an Acoustic Consultant, you will play a vital role in supporting the wider acoustics team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Conducting noise and vibration assessments for various development projects
Assisting with acoustic measurements, data collection, and analysis
Undertaking acoustic modelling using CadnaA and ODEON software
Preparing technical reports, environmental statements, and assessment documentation
Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to deliver effective acoustic solutions
Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry regulations, standards, and best practicesCandidate Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role is a motivated individual with a strong interest in acoustic consultancy. To thrive in this role, you should have:

Previous experience working as an Acoustic Consultant - specifically having undertaken Environmental Noise Surveys
A degree in Acoustics, Mathematics, Sound Engineering, Physics, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline
A willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings, with a valid UK driving license being essential
Strong analytical skills and attention to detailWhy Join?
