Description:
An excellent opportunity for a motivated Field Service Engineer. This is an opportunity to join a highly established machine tool specialist supporting blue-chip customers across aerospace, automotive, defence, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
This role requires regular International and European travel.
The Role:
Attending breakdowns and diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
Carrying out servicing, repairs and planned maintenance
Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment
Working on automated machinery including electrical controls, hydraulics and pneumatics
Installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of CNC and machine tool equipment
Electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis and repair
Supporting customers within aerospace, automotive, precision engineering, and manufacturing environments
PLCs and fault finding
Person:
Experience as a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Field Engineer
Strong fault finding experience across Electrical and Mechanical systems
Confident working on breakdowns and solving problems independently
Some exposure to PLC fault finding is highly desirable
Experience with automated machinery, CNC, robotics or similar equipment
Comfortable reading technical drawings and working methodically
