We are seeking two Electrical Technicians to join a well-established Manufacturer in Collumpton. As an Electrical Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping site operations running safely and efficiently. Working as part of a skilled engineering team and reporting to the Electrical Manager, you'll be responsible for completing all Electrical tasks on site including fault finding, PPM, TPM and reactive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Responding to electrical breakdowns and carrying out fault finding
* Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Supporting production improvement initiatives
* Performing day-to-day site maintenance
* Carrying out both Electrical and Instrumentation engineering tasks.
* Working on three phase systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and Analogue Current Loops.
Experience, Skills and Candidate Attributes Required:
Essential:
* A HNC, ONC, HND or 18th Edition qualification. In the absence of these qualifications, a time served Electrical Engineer or Technician may also be considered.
* Experience working as an Electrical Engineer or Electrical Technician gained from within a Manufacturing Environment.
* Knowledge of three phases systems, hydraulic / pneumatic systems & analogue current loops.
* Strong fault-finding knowledge on electrical equipment.
* The ability to work on your own or as part of a wider team.
Desirable:
* Understanding of PLC or DCS systems is highly desirable but not essential.
These roles are Day Shift roles of Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30. Successful candidates will also be required to be on a call out / weekend rota (1 weekend in 4).
