Salary: £52,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off - 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off
Hours: 12-hour shifts, working across a 7-day rota including weekends
Location: East Yorkshire

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy fused minerals processing plant operating 24 hours a day.
The Role
Working as part of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance activities across a heavy manufacturing environment. You will be involved in planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics and supporting the ongoing reliability and performance of plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical maintenance activities within a busy manufacturing environment
* Fault find and diagnose issues with electrical equipment and control systems
* Work with inverters, drives, PLCs, motors and associated control systems
* Read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams
* Maintain accurate maintenance records
* Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements
* Follow safe working procedures, including lock-off/tag-off processes
* Identify and report unsafe operations immediately
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
* Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Assist with tasks outside of your core skill set where required
About You
The successful candidate will have experience within an electrical maintenance environment, ideally gained within heavy industry, manufacturing or a similar industrial setting.
You will ideally have experience with:
* Electrical maintenance within a factory or industrial environment
* Inverters, drives, PLCs, motors and control systems
* Fault finding and diagnostic work
* Reading electrical circuit diagrams
* Electrical equipment and wiring
* Health and safety systems, including lock-off/tag-off procedures
* Pneumatic and hydraulic systems would be advantageous
* Electrical installation experience would be beneficial
* Forklift truck or MEWP experience would be advantageous
Qualifications
* Minimum City & Guilds qualification with 17th Edition
* HV experience and qualifications desirable
* Counterbalance FLT licence desirable
You will need to be physically fit, safety-conscious and flexible in your approach to working different shift patterns.
