Senior Building Surveyor
Exeter | Up to £60,000 | Hybrid & Flexible Working
Are you a Chartered Building Surveyor looking for greater variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work on projects that genuinely make a difference to communities across the South West?
A highly regarded property consultancy is seeking a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to join its established Exeter team. Working alongside a multi-disciplinary group of property professionals, you'll be involved in a diverse portfolio of projects across public and private sector estates, encompassing everything from historic buildings and schools to commercial properties and residential assets.
The Role
This is a varied position combining both professional and project work, including:
Technical due diligence and building surveys.
Defect diagnosis, condition surveys and dilapidations.
Preparing specifications, drawings and contract documentation.
Managing refurbishment, repair and maintenance projects.
Providing expert advice on building condition, compliance and asset management.
Conducting stakeholder meetings and presenting recommendations to clients.
Leading quality assurance and ensuring projects meet regulatory requirements.
About You
MRICS qualified (or equivalent).
Proven experience within Building Surveying consultancy or property services.
Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and construction legislation.
Experience delivering refurbishment and maintenance projects.
Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider professional team.
