We are working with a highly respected and well-established professional services firm to recruit a Credit Control Administrator to join their Finance team in Edinburgh. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract. The role will initially be office based, with the opportunity to move to a hybrid working model once established in the role.

The Role

The successful candidate will support the Credit Control Manager in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding fees while delivering a professional service to both clients and colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining regular contact with clients via telephone, email, and written correspondence regarding outstanding payments
• Supporting the collection of outstanding invoices in a timely and professional manner
• Responding to internal and external credit control queries
• Liaising with Partners and fee earners to resolve account queries efficiently
• Assisting with cash allocation and fee payment processing
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Supporting the day-to-day administration of the Credit Control function
• Ensuring confidentiality is maintained when handling financial information

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within a Credit Control or Finance Administration role
• Excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks
• Experience working with confidential financial information
