Talentmark are recruiting for a Laboratory Assistant to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis until the end of 2026. This role is site-based in Wokingham.
Salary:
£13.12 per hour.
Laboratory Assistant Role:
Prepare all the samples for the food sciences lab.
Responsible for laboratory administration tasks and housekeeping activities.
Assist with routine checks/calibrations and control documentation.
Assigning analytical tests, allocating samples for analysis and maintaining chain-of-custody.
Input of test results and liaising with clients as needed. Your Background:
Hold a qualification in a relevant scientific subject (it does not have to be a degree) or have equivalent working experience.
Experience with basic lab equipment
Good attention to detail
Accountability, honesty, hardworking, flexibility and adaptability, and working efficiently in a team
Good written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational skillsCompany:
