Location: Wolverhampton

Salary: £16.00 per hour

Hours: 42 hours per week

Sleep-In Rate: £50 per sleep

JP Healthcare Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a growing children's residential provider in Wolverhampton.

We're looking for compassionate, resilient and dedicated Support Workers who are passionate about helping children and young people reach their full potential. If you're looking for a rewarding role where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for children and young people who have experienced trauma, mental health difficulties and complex needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Providing high-quality, person-centred care and emotional support.

* Building positive, trusting relationships with young people.

* Supporting education, daily routines and independent living skills.

* Managing challenging behaviours using positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques.

* Administering medication where required.

* Completing accurate daily records and safeguarding documentation.

* Working alongside colleagues, families and external professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes.

What We're Looking For

* Previous experience working with children and young people in a residential setting.

* Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification (or willing to work towards).

* A caring, patient and resilient approach.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

* A strong understanding of safeguarding and promoting positive outcomes.

* Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
