Aqua-Tech are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to manage and oversee site delivery of water infrastructure projects, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, to programme, and in line with quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations on water infrastructure projects
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, site teams, labour, plant, and materials
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, programmes, and project requirements
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, environmental compliance, and quality
- Carry out risk assessments, toolbox talks, inspections, and site checks
- Maintain site records, reports, diaries, and project documentation
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and resolve issues affecting delivery
- Manage quality through inspections, testing, and compliance with ITPs
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and stakeholders
- Support cost control, procurement, and resource planning
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction, civil engineering, or the water industry
- SMSTS certification
- Valid CSCS Manager/Supervisor Card
- Relevant construction/civil engineering qualification (HNC/HND, NVQ Level 4/6, or equivalent experience)
- Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor qualification
- First Aid at Work certification
- Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, including CDM Regulations
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Experience working on treatment works, pumping stations, pipelines, or similar infrastructure projects is desirable
