We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Worcester. This role involves working closely with an individual pupil to support their learning, development, and wellbeing within the classroom environment.
About the Role
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide tailored support to a pupil with specific learning needs
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement individual learning plans
Support the pupil’s academic, social, and emotional development
Adapt learning materials to meet the pupil’s needs
Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with children in a primary school setting
Have knowledge of Special Educational Needs, such as ASD, ADHD, or speech and language needs
Be patient, empathetic, and resilient
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
