Turbine & Generation Plant Commissioning Engineer W Highlands
£700-£800/day Inside IR35 | Until End of 2027 | Western Highlands, Scotland
We're recruiting an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support a major turbine and generator commissioning project within a power generation environment.
You'll lead commissioning planning, procedures, testing and execution across turbine, generator, control and auxiliary systems, working closely with contractors, project teams and operations to safely return plant to service.
Key Requirements
Extensive commissioning experience on large rotating plant
Background in power generation (hydro, gas, coal, nuclear or similar)
Experience developing and delivering commissioning plans and procedures
Strong stakeholder and contractor management skills
Engineering degree or equivalent industry experienceContract Details
£700-£800/day Inside IR35
Long-term programme through to end of 2027
Predominantly site-based during commissioning phases
Accommodation support availableThis is an excellent opportunity for a commissioning professional with experience of turbines, generators or other large rotating assets to play a key role in a major generation upgrade project.
