Location: Grays, Essex
Salary: £55,000-£65,000
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 07.00 – 18:00, Friday 07.00 – 16:00

About the Client:
Interaction Technical has partnered with a well-established national plant hire firm to support their team expansion. Our client is looking to onboard an engineer from heavy plant experience. They offer a comprehensive training scheme with the opportunity to go into a field role in the future.
The Package:
20 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays
Full training and ongoing development
Opportunity to gain various certifications (LOLER, CSCS etc)
Company van + fuel card
Quarterly bonuses
Christmas shut down and bonuses
The Requirements:
Previous experience working on construction plant machinery (excavators, dozers, wheel loaders etc.)
Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
Previous direct manufacturer experience or training
Electrical and Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience
Capability to work on your own and manage your own workload efficiently
Relevant qualifications, NVQ or City and Guilds in Construction Plant Maintenance or Land Based Engineering
Full UK drivers’ licence
The Responsibilities:
Travel to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices.
Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting.
Communicate effectively with the in-house engineering team to provide feedback and improve product performance.
