Are you ready to take the next step in your Quality Assurance career?

We're working with a well-established manufacturing business looking to appoint an ambitious Site Quality Lead to oversee quality activities at one of their production sites. Although the title reflects the responsibility of leading quality on-site, this is a hands-on Quality Assurance position, ideal for someone looking to progress into a leadership role.

Reporting to the Group Quality Manager, you'll take ownership of the site's quality systems while supporting and mentoring a Laboratory Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QA professional who enjoys being involved in day-to-day quality activities while developing their leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead day-to-day quality assurance activities across the site.

* Ensure compliance with quality systems, procedures and industry standards.

* Conduct internal audits, inspections and investigations where required including report writing.

* Manage non-conformances, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

* Support production teams with quality-related issues and promote a quality-first culture.

* Supervise and support the site's Laboratory Technician.

* Liaise with the Group Quality Manager to maintain consistent quality standards across multiple sites.

About You

* Previous experience within a Quality Assurance role in a manufacturing environment.

* Experience within aseptic manufacturing would be advantageous but is not essential.

* A proactive, motivated individual looking to progress their career.

* Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

* Confident communicator with the ability to influence colleagues across the business.

* Passionate about continuous improvement and maintaining high-quality standards.

What's on Offer?

Salary of £28,000 - £30,000, depending on experience.

33 days annual leave including Bank Holidays (pro rata equivalent for a 4-day week).

Flexible working pattern with the option of a 4-day working week (10-hour days).

Company benefits package.

Genuine opportunity to develop into a broader quality leadership role.

Supportive management team and excellent career progression opportunities.

If you're an enthusiastic QA professional looking for your next challenge and the opportunity to make a real impact within a growing manufacturing business, we'd love to hear from you.

Please note: This opportunity is currently being handled on a confidential basis. Full details of the company will be provided to shortlisted applicants
