About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile construction projects across the commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and fit-out sectors.
Working closely with project managers, design teams, subcontractors, and clients, you will play a key role in ensuring engineering activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure buildability and compliance.
Support project planning, programming, and technical delivery.
Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve technical queries.
Monitor quality standards and ensure works are completed in line with project specifications.
Assist in the management of design coordination and change control processes.
Ensure health, safety, environmental, and quality standards are maintained at all times.
Contribute to project reporting, progress tracking, and risk management.
Identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Essential:
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience working within the construction industry on major building projects.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and design coordination.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and common construction management software.
Full right to work in the UK.Desirable:
Chartered or working towards Chartership (ICE, IStructE, CIOB, or equivalent).
Experience delivering complex commercial or fit-out projects.
Knowledge of BIM processes and digital construction tools.
SMSTS, CSCS, or other relevant site certifications.
