Imports Coordinator required to join an established, busy and personable team asap, in what will be a fast-paced role. Hours of work will be Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4.30pm. Salary will be up to £33,000 per annum depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of imports, distribution, shipping coordination experience, and will be available to start work asap.
Duties:
Arrange and monitor international shipments
Liaising daily with the factory and internal team to ensure safe and timely arrival of shipments
Oversee customs declarations
Check stock levels
Coordinate the dispatch of customer orders, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and on-time distribution
Daily liaison with manufacturers, suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and freight forwarders
Deal with any immediate potential issues, keeping customers updated at all times
Review shipping charges
Process customer invoicing and maintain accurate records of shipping, logistics, and operational expensesBenefits:

Previous imports, logistics, shipping, distribution experience
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on high attention to detail
