A leading multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy is looking for an experienced Bid Coordinator to join their Leeds team. This is an excellent opportunity to support a well-established business delivering professional services across the built environment.
The Bid Coordinator will work closely with technical teams, directors and business development colleagues to produce high-quality bids, proposals and tender submissions. The successful candidate will manage the bid process from initial opportunity through to final submission, ensuring all documents are accurate, persuasive and completed on time.
The Role
As Bid Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating PQQs, tenders, frameworks and proposal submissions.
Managing bid programmes, deadlines and internal review meetings.
Working with technical specialists to gather relevant project information.
Writing, editing and proofreading bid content.
Maintaining bid libraries, case studies, CVs and project records.
Ensuring submissions follow brand guidelines and client requirements.
Supporting interview preparation, presentations and post-tender reviews.
Monitoring procurement portals and identifying suitable opportunities.
Liaising with marketing and business development teams.
Supporting continuous improvement of bid processes and submission quality.
The Bid Coordinator will need to manage several deadlines at once while maintaining a high standard of written and visual presentation.
Required Experience
The successful Bid Coordinator should have:
Previous bid, proposal or tender coordination experience within construction, property, engineering or professional consultancy services.
Strong written English, proofreading and document-production skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
The ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
Knowledge of public and private sector procurement processes.
A relevant qualification in business, marketing, English, communications, construction or a related subject.
APMP membership or an industry-recognised bid qualification would be advantageous.
Experience with Adobe InDesign or similar design software would be beneficial.
