Rotating Shifts: 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00
A global engineering manufacturer operating within the live events and specialist structures sector is looking for a Waterjet Operator to join its production team.
The site produces intricate mechanical structures and assemblies for large-scale installations and touring projects. This role forms part of the machining function, focused on accurately cutting and preparing components using waterjet equipment.
The Role
Operating waterjet cutting machinery to produce components that meet specification
Setting up jobs according to drawings, work instructions and material requirements
Safely loading and unloading materials
Checking finished components to confirm accuracy and quality standards are met
Performing basic machine maintenance and general housekeeping
Liaising closely with production and engineering teams to maintain workflow
Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
Previous experience operating waterjet machinery or similar CNC/profile cutting equipment
Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Comfortable working within a manufacturing or engineering setting
Basic IT skills for logging and tracking jobs
Experience working with metals or engineered materials is advantageous
