Vehicle Damage Assessor vacancy available in Hull, East Yorkshire. Our client, a reputable commercial accident repair centre, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their expanding team. Supportive and friendly team environmentDuties as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you'll:
Conduct inspections of damaged vehicles to assess full extent of damage
Determine repair costs and timeframes effectively
Utilise Audatex software for electronic estimates
Identify correct prescribed repair methods
Prepare, record, and maintain both electronic and manual estimates
Liaise with insurance companies to manage claims efficiently
Collaborate with the wider bodyshop team to ensure repair processes are clear to technicians
Keep accurate records of all assessments and estimate documentationRequirements for the Vehicle Damage Assessor role will include:
NVQ or ATA qualification preferred; automotive staff with relevant experience will also be considered
Ability to meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail
Full UK Driving Licence
Transferable automotive skills from roles such as bodyshop technician, paint sprayer, or MET fitter will be considered
Excellent communication and organisational skills
