Workshop Controller – Weston-super-Mare

We are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Controller to join our client in Weston-super-Mare.

This is a key role responsible for coordinating workshop activity, managing breakdowns, scheduling servicing and repairs, and ensuring engineers have the information and parts required to complete work efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate breakdowns, repairs and servicing.

* Allocate work to engineers and maintain service records.

* Schedule inspections and routine maintenance.

* Arrange third-party repairs when required.

* Order parts and process repair documentation.

* Liaise with internal teams to maximise equipment availability.

Requirements

* Previous experience in a Workshop Controller, Service Controller or Maintenance Controller role.

* Excellent organisational and communication skills.

* Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

* Plant, construction or heavy equipment experience is advantageous.
