Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools across Newcastle upon Tyne.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting students aged 11–16 both academically and emotionally within the classroom environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons
Assisting with classroom and behaviour management
Providing one-to-one and small group support
Helping students stay focused, motivated, and confident in their learning
Encouraging positive participation and promoting an inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for individuals who are:
Passionate about education and supporting young people
Patient, adaptable, and confident communicators
Able to build positive relationships with students and staff
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable, but not essential
