An established and growing UK business specialising in the industrial door and loading bay sector is seeking an experienced Door Engineer to join its service team covering Blantyre and the wider Central Belt of Scotland. Due to continued expansion and increasing customer demand, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable organisation with a strong reputation for quality workmanship, customer service, and employee development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of a wide range of industrial doors, including roller shutters, sectional doors, high-speed doors, and associated entrance systems across a diverse commercial and industrial customer base. This is a field-based role offering autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to work with well-established clients throughout the region.
In return, the company offers a highly competitive package with earnings of up to £18+ per hour, together with premium overtime rates paid after a 40-hour working week, providing excellent earning potential. A fully equipped company van is supplied, along with private healthcare, 33 days annual leave, a high street discount scheme, and the opportunity to join a business that genuinely values and invests in its engineers.
This Industrial Door Engineer role will involve the following:
Service, maintenance and installation of industrial roller shutters, sectional, fast action, and overhead doors.
Dock leveller, loading bay equipment and scissor lift maintenance.
Spotting sales opportunities.
Electrical and mechanical Engineering fault finding.
Delivering good customer service.If any of the following applies to your experience please apply.
You MUST have previous Electrical, service, maintenance or installation engineering experience within the industrial door industry or similar.
An IPAF, PASMA, CSCS, BS7036, EN16005, SSTS card with experience working in a similar role.
Roller-shutter, sectional, loading bay, fast action, wicket gates or scissor lift experience.In return and Industrial Door Engineer will receive some fantastic benefits including these:

Premium overtime rates (x1.5 first 3 hours overtime, x2 after 4hrs).
