Groundworker

Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for Groundworkers to begin work for a well-established company working on a major project in Orkney. Candidates can be based in Edinburgh.
About the role:
Working Hours - 12 days on / 2 days off OR 11 days on / 3 days off, 7:30am – 6:00pm
Pay Rate - £21.00 per hour
Brief Role Description –
We are looking for experienced Groundworkers to join a long-term substation project in Orkney. The successful candidates will be working on platform construction, drainage and ducting works as part of a busy groundworks team.
Duties will include:
* Drainage works for road gullies
* Installing 4–5km of ducting
* Ground preparation and general groundworks duties
* Working alongside other site operatives to complete works safely
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Long-term work until the end of the year
* Start: ASAP
About You:
* High work ethic & team player
* Punctual & reliable
* Previous groundworks experience required
* Experience with drainage and ducting preferred
* CSCS required
* Able to work away on a rotational basis
* Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
