Operations Administrator (Permanent or Temporary to Permanent)
Location: Ascot all office based
Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full Time
Location: Office-basedAre you a highly organised administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment? Whether you're an experienced HR Administrator or an exceptional administrator looking to build a career in Human Resources, we'd love to hear from you.
You will be supporting a busy HR team based in Ascot, where you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the HR function. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad HR experience across the entire employee lifecycle while working alongside experienced HR professionals.
If you're available immediately, the team would also welcome someone to join on a temporary basis over the summer, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position from September.
The Role as Operations Administrator:
You will provide essential support across a wide range of HR activities, including:
Providing day-to-day administrative support to the HR team
Preparing contracts, offer letters and other HR documentation
Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
Supporting recruitment, onboarding and pre-employment checks
Coordinating interviews and candidate communications
Assisting with probation, absence and training administration
Responding to HR queries from employees and managers
Ensuring all HR records are maintained accurately and confidentially
Supporting HR projects and process improvements as required
The person:
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys delivering high-quality administrative support. You'll be someone who thrives in a busy environment, takes pride in your attention to detail and is always willing to get stuck in.
You'll have:
A positive, can-do attitude and a proactive approach
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A professional, approachable and discreet manner
A strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality
Reliability and a willingness to support the wider team
Previous HR administration experience, or
