Location: Greater Morecambe Area

Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established heavy industrial manufacturing business in the Greater Morecambe area. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of production machinery and ancillary plant through planned and reactive maintenance, helping to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll carry out electrical fault finding, maintenance and installations, supporting continuous improvement initiatives across a busy manufacturing environment. You'll work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently while maintaining high engineering standards.
Sector - Heavy Industrial Manufacturing
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Strong electrical maintenance background.
Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience).
PLC fault-finding experience.
Good communication skills.
Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Electrical fault finding.
PLC fault finding.
DC drives.
Control loops.
Instrumentation.
Panel wiring.
Motor testing and replacement.
Preventative maintenance.
Reactive maintenance.
Boiler maintenance.
Continuous Improvement.

Desirable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Continuous process manufacturing experience.
Instrumentation calibration experience.
Experience working on large industrial machinery.
