What You'll Be Doing
As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading multiple highway maintenance and civil engineering projects simultaneously.
* Developing and managing project programmes, schedules and delivery plans.
* Monitoring budgets, resources and project performance to ensure successful outcomes.
* Reviewing and approving health and safety documentation, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
* Managing project documentation, contractual records and reporting requirements.
* Identifying, managing and mitigating project risks.
* Building strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders and delivery teams.
* Coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to maximise project efficiency.
* Leading, coaching and developing site teams to achieve their full potential.
* Ensuring all project handover documentation and health and safety files are completed accurately.
What We're Looking For
Essential
* HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
* NVQ Level 6 qualification.
* CSCS Gold Card.
* SMSTS certification.
* Strong working knowledge of MS Project.
* Sound understanding of civil engineering principles and project delivery.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
* NRSWA qualification.
* Temporary Works experience or knowledge.
* NEC3/NEC4 contract experience.
* Experience using CEMAR.
