Position: Onsite IT Deskside Support Engineer
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Working Pattern: Onsite 5 days per week
This role is responsible for providing onsite technical support to users, managing incidents and service requests, and ensuring timely resolution of IT issues. The successful candidate will support employees in the Dublin office while working closely with application development and operations teams to maintain business-critical systems and services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide onsite deskside support for hardware, software, and end-user issues.
- Manage incidents and service requests through to resolution.
- Troubleshoot technical problems using administrative and support tools.
- Escalate and coordinate complex issues with relevant technology teams.
- Support production applications and customer-specific operational processes.
- Deliver a high level of customer service and communication to users.
- Track, document, and follow up on reported issues.
Essential Requirements
- Experience in IT Service Desk, Deskside Support, or End User Support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments, hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Experience with incident and request management processes.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant technical support experience.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience within financial services, banking, or securities environments.
- Exposure to supporting production applications.
- Familiarity with enterprise IT support tools and Active Directory administration.
