(Azure Data Platform) - SC Cleared

£400 per day | 12-Month Contract | Fully Remote

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to support and enhance Azure Data Platform services within a DevOps-focused Agile environment.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience (minimum SFIA Level 4) with:
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Azure Data Lake
• Strong experience developing and supporting Azure cloud-based applications.
• Terraform expertise for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code.
• Experience with Linux/Unix/Windows environments and Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally using GitLab CI (Azure DevOps experience beneficial).
• Experience working in Agile DevOps environments with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
• Ability to mentor and support engineers.

Highly Desirable

• Recent hands-on experience with Kafka and Kafka Connect.

The Role

You will take ownership of complex Azure Data Platform engineering activities, working with a high level of autonomy to deliver platform improvements, automation, operational support, proof of concepts, and innovation initiatives.
