Global - Training Manager - PLM/SAP Systems Integration - Freelance - 4 months - Amsterdam - Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Training Manager for a major PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and SAP integration programme.

The successful candidate will support the Business Process Owner (BPO) Operations team in designing, managing, and delivering training for Factory Key Users and End Users, ensuring successful adoption of SAP R/3 and the new PLM solution across manufacturing sites.

This role combines expertise in SAP manufacturing processes, PLM systems, training management, and change adoption within a factory environment.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Adoption

• Design and execute end-to-end training programmes for Key Users and End Users.
• Deliver training on:
• Plant Formula and Bill of Materials (BOM) processes
• Finished Goods Management
• System validation workflows
• Ensure users are fully prepared for system go-live and post-go-live support.

Business Operations Support

• Work closely with BPO Operations teams to align training activities with business objectives.
• Support business continuity during cutover and go-live phases.
• Translate operational processes into practical training materials.

Training Logistics & Documentation

• Manage training schedules and training environments.
• Coordinate training documentation and validation activities.
• Produce user guides, work instructions, and knowledge transfer materials.

Knowledge Retention & Continuous Improvement

• Track training KPIs and adoption metrics.
• Maintain and update training documentation for future rollouts.
• Support retraining activities across existing and upcoming manufacturing sites.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP, particularly within manufacturing environments.
• Good understanding of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) concepts and systems.
• Knowledge of SAP processes related to:
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Finished Goods Management
• Manufacturing operations
• Experience with digital learning tools, virtual training platforms, and E-learning methodologies.

Soft Skills

• Ability to simplify complex technical processes into effective training content.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience working with factory operators, engineers, and business teams.
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
