Unqualified Primary / Secondary Teacher – Full Time

Location: Rhondda Cynon Taf
Pay: £120 per day

Are you confident in the classroom and passionate about supporting students? We're working with local schools in the RCT that are looking for a Cover Supervisor to help support their school.

Role Overview: What You’ll Be Doing

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining continuity in students' learning during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering pre-prepared lessons to classes across various subjects
Supporting the learning environment while maintaining behaviour and focus
Taking registers and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
Building positive relationships with students and staff
Adapting quickly to the needs of different classrooms

Have a good understanding of core subjects and the UK curriculum
Are confident, adaptable, and resilient
Possess strong classroom management skills
Value clear communication and student wellbeing
Are reliable and enthusiastic about working in education

Requirements

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
Two professional references covering the past two years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
