Job Description: Assistant Site Engineer
Position: Assistant Site Engineer
Location: Buckingham
Sector: Civil Engineering / Infrastructure
Contract Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive Assistant Site Engineer to join our team on civil infrastructure projects in Buckingham. Working alongside senior engineers, you will handle day-to-day setting out, quality assurance, technical documentation, and site supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Setting Out & Surveying: Execute precise setting out, levelling, and as-built surveys using Total Stations and GPS/GNSS equipment.
Technical & Quality Control: Interpret CAD drawings, enforce Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), conduct pre-pour checks, and manage RFIs.
Site Operations: Maintain accurate daily site logs (labor, plant, progress) and assist in supervising subcontractors.
Health & Safety: Enforce compliance with RAMS, Permits to Work, and site safety standards.
Requirements
Qualification: HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience: Practical site experience setting out on civil infrastructure projects.
Technical Skills: Proficient with Total Stations/GPS and AutoCAD.
Certifications: Valid CSCS Card and Full UK Driving License.
