Maintenance Engineer (Shift)
Location: Leicesterhsire
Salary: £43,400 + £3,712 shift allowance + 5% uplift (typically within 12 months)
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off
Overtime: Available (up to 208 hours per year after 6 months)
We are working with a well established manufacturer within the packaging sector, supplying high-quality plastic packaging solutions, who are looking to strengthen their engineering team with a skilled Maintenance Engineer. This is a hands on role supporting production through reactive and planned maintenance across a range of automated and moulding equipment.
The Role
Provide breakdown and fault-finding support across moulding machinery and automation equipment
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives (OEE)
Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain uptime
Assist with improvements to automated manufacturing processes
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company proceduresRequirements
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) minimum
Time-served engineer with an electrical bias (multi-skilled preferred)
Experience within manufacturing or production environments
Injection moulding experience beneficial but not essential
