Location: Welwyn
Job Type: Contract - Lond Term
Salary: £450 per day
We are seeking an experienced Estates Surveyor to our client on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Welwyn, working directly with the council. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic professional who is ready to handle responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Manage covenant and deed releases, ensuring compliance with local regulations and historical restrictions.
Oversee rent reviews and provide technical support to the team.
Engage in property valuation for freehold reversion and lease extensions under the Leasehold Reform and Urban Development Act 1993 and the Leasehold Reform Act 1967.
Work closely with local residents and businesses to facilitate lease extensions and manage property-related transactions.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Estates Surveyor, particularly in commercial landlord and tenant engagements.
Strong technical knowledge in handling covenant releases and consents.
Experience in property valuation for lease extensions and freehold reversions.
Excellent understanding of the local property market
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills.Educational Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Real Estate, or a related field.
Professional Accreditation:
Membership of a recognised professional body such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is highly desirable. This could be MRICS or FRICS status.
