Are you a Software Engineer looking for an opportunity to work on technically challenging software within a collaborative engineering environment?

We're working with an established technology business looking to add a Software Engineer to its growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong Python background who enjoys working across software development, DevOps and infrastructure automation.

The Role

You'll work on a variety of secure software projects, contributing throughout the full development lifecycle whilst collaborating closely with experienced engineers across multiple product teams.

Responsibilities include:

Developing high-quality software using Python
Linux-based software development
Bash scripting and automation
CI/CD and DevOps tooling
Infrastructure as Code
Docker & Kubernetes deployments
Technical documentation
Third-line technical investigations
Sprint planning and Agile ceremonies
Mentoring colleagues and contributing to engineering best practice

Required Experience

3-5+ years commercial software engineering experience
Python
Linux
Bash scripting
Agile development
