We are recruiting an experienced and compassionate Female Carer / Healthcare Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with a range of health conditions and care needs within their own homes. This role focuses on delivering person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, comfort, and wellbeing while ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver compassionate, person-centred care tailored to individual needs and preferences.
* Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, continence care, and oral hygiene.
* Support individuals with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and the safe use of mobility equipment.
* Prepare meals and drinks while supporting individuals with nutrition and hydration requirements.
* Prompt or administer medication in accordance with care plans and company policies.
* Carry out routine health observations where required and accurately report any concerns.
* Encourage independence by supporting service users to participate in daily routines and personal goals.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing.
* Escort individuals to appointments, social activities, and community outings when required.
* Maintain accurate care records, daily notes, medication records, and incident reports.
Requirements:
* Female applicants only.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Minimum 6 months' recent UK care experience.
* Experience working as a Carer, Healthcare Assistant (HCA), or Support Worker on complex care packages.
* Caring, compassionate, and reliable with a positive attitude.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
