SHEQ Manager
Leeds | Circa £65,000 + Car/Car Allowance
We are working with a prominent organisation in the civil engineering and construction sector delivering essential infrastructure services across the UK, is seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to shape and embed safety standards across multiple projects. You will be instrumental in supporting safe working environments, managing compliance, and promoting environmental stewardship.
You will:
Lead and develop safety, quality, and environmental policies, procedures, and initiatives.
Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and safety audits, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational standards.
Support incident investigations and facilitate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement through training and communication.
Manage environmental programs aiming to reduce carbon footprint and improve operational performance.You will need:
NEBOSH or equivalent health, safety, and environmental qualification.
Proven experience managing SHEQ in infrastructure, utilities, or similar sectors.
Strong understanding of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence teams and stakeholders at all levels.This is a fantastic opportunity to influence safety and sustainability at a strategic level within a fast-paced, forward-thinking organisation.
