Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Predominantly Ealing, with work across London

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Water Hygiene Engineer to join our expanding commercial maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a supportive business that invests in continuous training and professional development.
The role is based predominantly in Ealing, although you will also be required to work on sites across London as business needs require.
Working across a variety of commercial sites, you'll carry out Legionella compliance tasks on both mains-fed and stored hot and cold water systems. You'll also undertake minor plumbing works where required while delivering a high standard of service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out water temperature monitoring and water sampling.
Complete cold water storage tank inspections, cleaning and disinfection.
Perform shower cleaning, descaling and outlet maintenance.
Service Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs).
Undertake minor plumbing repairs and remedial works.
Complete electronic service reports using a PDA on the same day.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
Respond to urgent maintenance requests when required.
Follow all health and safety procedures and industry best practice.
Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and report any defects.
Contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
What We're Looking For
Essential
Minimum of 1 year's experience in a Water Hygiene role.
Legionella Awareness qualification.
Full UK driving licence.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
NVQ in Plumbing.
Plumbing experience.
Knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274 and the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999.
Asbestos Awareness training.
Working at Height, Manual Handling, First Aid or other relevant health and safety qualifications.
