We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician / PSV Technician to join a busy, well-equipped bus engineering workshop in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on modern, complex PSV fleets, take pride in your workmanship, and earn a competitive rate with a structured shift pattern.
What You’ll Be Doing as HGV Technician / PSV Technician
Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on PSV/HGV vehicles to DVSA standards
Diagnosing and repairing faults across engines, brakes, transmissions, electrics, air-con, and driveline components
Using diagnostic tools to accurately assess vehicle performance and identify required repairs
Maintaining a safe, organised workshop and following all safety procedures
Ensuring all work aligns with manufacturer guidelines and company processes
What We’re Looking for as HGV Technician / PSV Technician
NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, Time-Served, or equivalent qualification in HGV/PSV maintenance
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills
Competent with electrical systems and confident using workshop equipment safely
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
IRTEC accreditation advantageous
