Our client, a global engineering consultancy with over a century of expertise in infrastructure development, is currently seeking a capable and experienced Civil Engineer to join their team in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. This is a permanent, onsite position with potential for flexibility following the probation period.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce detailed civil engineering designs, drawings, and calculations
Design pavements and drainage networks
Carry out engineering evaluations, design analysis, and feasibility studies
Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and comprehensive engineering reports
Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and design teams to ensure aligned deliverables
Support site inspections, constructability assessments, and design resolution activities
Assist in project scheduling, planning, and estimation
Maintain awareness of current engineering standards, technical developments, and best practice methodologies
Apply full professional commitment and actively support company objectives and values
Job Requirements:
Significant professional civil engineering experience
Experience in infrastructure, foundations, pavements, structural, or related civil design areas
Proficiency in engineering software and analytical tools
Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
Broad awareness of safety, quality, sustainability, and engineering compliance
Ability to work onsite Monday to Friday, with flexibility available post-probation
Degree in Civil Engineering
