Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm, is seeking a Legal Support Assistant to join their friendly Private Client team in Telford.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and organisational skills who enjoys working in a professional, client-focused environment. Working alongside experienced solicitors and legal professionals, you'll support clients through important life events, including wills, lasting powers of attorney and estate planning, while gaining valuable experience within a respected legal practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing administrative and secretarial support to the Private Client team.
* Preparing legal documents and maintaining client files under supervision.
* Acting as a first point of contact for clients, handling enquiries professionally and sensitively.
* Keeping clients updated on the progress of their matters.
* Managing correspondence, documents and filing accurately.
* Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring a high standard of client care.
* Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the department.
Key Skills and Experience
* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
* Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A professional, friendly and empathetic approach to client service.
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications.
* The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a busy environment.
* Previous administrative or customer service experience within a professional office environment would be advantageous
